Singo’s Comp Wrapup

G’day fellas,

Just a quick wrap of what went down at the singos comp

Well we weren’t greeted with the best of conditions with swell being a bit smaller than anticipated and a very strong onshore wind blowin but at least we didn’t have to contend with any crowds. Despite the conditions some great surfing went down.

Some honourable mentions would have to include Robbie bombing out first heat despite his trash talking, Wolfie snapping a board and Millers all out attack which left him finless and Bones with some sweet gouges thru the rails.

The final featured two of our past winners in Cherry the raining champ and Rowdy the inauguaral champ, new comer Chimo and a sober Sisco all of whom had been looking very good in there heats. Maybe the 100 odd waves Rowdy caught in his semi had tired him out and the thought of an icy cold export had hold of Sisco but they new they were gone and paddled in early leaving Cherry and Chimo to battle it out. In the end there could only be one winner and by the closest of margins yet seen it was Cherry claiming back to back wins. Congrats to Cherry who gets to hold the fresh gleaming trophy till next comp. Many thanks to Cosa for making the trophy. Thanks to all who made it down there and helped out.
